End of Ramadhan, Welcoming Syawal

Today is the end of Ramadhan. Well actually this year there are two version of Idul Fitri. One held today (like my boyfriend did), and one held tomorrow (like my family will do). But overall, here in Bandung, the Ied's euphoria just started after maghrib today. I'm happy because we'll celebrate our holy day tomorrow, but still, I really feel sad, because Ramadhan just ended. I think I haven't optimize my time on the last month, I'm too busy thinking about my college life, I haven't finished reading Qur'an, I haven't done so much on this Ramadhan.. I really hope to have a chance to meet Ramadhan in the next year.. Insya Allah..

I received many texts and bbms from my friends, we all ask for apology. How beautiful Islam is. In this kind of situation, I feel like we all really zero-ing our mind, we're born as the new person, I thank Allah for giving us a chance to be forgiven..

And tonight I texted my boyfriend, asking for apology from him..
"Rasanya ada yg salah banget kalo sm tmen2 aja minta maaf, tp sama kamu, yg mayoritas waktunya dihabisin brg aku, aku g minta maaf..selamat idul fitri dandyku sayang, pacar plg sabar sedunia..maafin semua salah aku ya,,smg taun2 dpan msh bsa puasa brg, lbaran bareng juga..smg smakin hari kita smakin baik, smakin dwasa, dan makin dejet sm Allah supaya trbuka jalan yg terbaik utk kita berdua..amin.."

Then few minutes later, I received his answer..
"Makasih banyak pacarku sayang, biarpun kita lebaranya beda, tp mudah2an hati kita tetap sama. Selamat idul fitri minal aidin wal faidzin ya bubun, smoga semua yang kita cita2 dan harapkan menjadi kenyataan dengan ridho Allah. I love you bubun, smoga kita smakin dewasa dalam berhubungan ya, semakin saling ngerti satu sama lain. Love you bubun :-*"

Isn't it lovely? :')

Bye Ramadhan, really hope to see you again next years..
Welcome Syawal, really hope to be someone better for the rest of my life..
I hear takbir around my home, I feel everyone's happiness facing tomorrow, facing the new day for us-for all moslem. Tomorrow is Idul Fitri, and tonight, as the takbir's reverberating from all the mosque.., I finished my last sentence of my thesis. Allahuakbar.. Happy Ied everyone :)

Last day of Ramadhan. While everyone's busy cooking or preparing everything for tomorrow, I'm still here in front of my laptop. Go go go finish the thesis!

22 YEARS OLD

25th August always be a happy day for me. That's the day of mine, the day when my mom delivered me 22 years ago. This year I reach 22 years old. The age that can count as a mature age, when I won't be called as an "ABG" anymore. I realize that 22 years is quite long, 22 years means I have already experience this world for 22 years. So many things happened. I made mistakes, I learnt, and believe me I always try to be a better person every time.

Then back to what happened on my 22nd birthday, few hours before 25th August, I wrote this blog, then after that I slept. I didn't wake up at 00:00 as I used to do in the last few years because maybe I was too sleepy. I woke up at 1:00 when I heard my cellphone's beeping -- someone texted me, gave a birthday greeting. I didn't receive any message from my boyfriend that time. It's a bit weird, because my boyfriend used to text me at 00:00 on my birthday (this is my 6th times birthday with him). But well, no problem, I thought maybe he was just too sleepy as I was. After I read the text, I slept again, and woke up at 3:30. My boyfriend finally texted me and I replied it immediately. Then I went downstairs to eat sahur with my mom and dad. My dad greeted me first, said "happy birthday" to me, and gave me some prayers. My mom also did it after she saw my dad's talking to me. Again, it's a bit weird when my parents remember my birthday. My parents usually forget my birthday, and just realized that it was my birthday in the afternoon. But what happened this year is different. Alhamdulillah :)

When I ate sahur, someone's ringing on my home bell's. I thought that it was the security or my driver (because people who come to my home usually knock the door, and only my driver and the security who use the bell when coming to my home). But, SURPRISE! Guess who come at 3:45 am to my home? That's my boyfriend, and he was holding a Harvest's chocolate's cake with a cute candle :) Thank you so mucchhh looove :*
After I blew the candle, and continue my sahur, we went to the mosque together --me, Dandy, and my parents-- to pray Subuh. That was a super start on my birthday, we walked together to the mosque, and when we looked at the sky, there were so many stars that looked so beautiful.. What a beautiful dawn :) Back from the mosque, my boyfriend gave me some gifts, a necklace and a pashmina. Thank you :)

My boyfriend went back to his home after subuh and he promised me to come back to my home in the morning. I had a plan to go to the market with my mom after subuh, because I want to cook something to be given to my gym for breakfasting. Back from the market, I cleaned the house because my bestfriend's mom will come to my home in the morning. My bestfriend is Yayu, she's my friend since we were in kindergarten. We went to the same school from kindergarten until senior high school (we also took an English class together at EF). Unfortunately we had to go separately when we come to Uni life. She studied in UI Intenational Class while I studied in ITB. Two years ago she went to Melbourne Australia to cpntinue her study, and she's already graduated now. I didn't know before that she's already in Indonesia, so I don't know that she wold come to my house on my birthday. Yes, she's coming to my house, not his mother who came here. And she gave me birthday presents :) Again, thank you so much :)

In the afternoon, I went to the shopping center with my boyfriend. On that day, my boyfriend accompanied me (almost) a whole day. We had break-fasting in my home, and after maghrib, we went to my Grandpa's hose to eat the birthday cake together with my family.
Blur picture, small celebration, but I love it! Anw, dandy's taking this picture so he wasn't on the frame :)
After eating the cake together with my family, me and Dandy went eating meatballs together, and after that he went home. After I did tarawih, I opened my facebook and my twitter, and I was so happy that so many people sent me birthday greetings and also pray for me. :)

For me, birthday is always super extraordinary. So many people love me and pray for me. And that really is more than enough --- my answer for my friend's question when she asked 'how's your birthday'

Thank you Allah, thank you all my family, thank you Dandy, thank you Yayu, thank you all my friends, I love you all so much :)
Well, HI. I forget to announce that I'm officially 22 now. I'll post about my birthday soon!

Ramadhan

My mood to write something always come at night. No, not the mood to write my thesis, but my mood to write something easy and simple on my blog (OMG, why am I so lazy to write my thesis, I just write one paragraph on it and then I feel like so tired, and immediately close the Ms.Word thingy, and start opening Google Chrome. How lazy I am). Just like what happen now, it's 00:34 am and I'm still awake (because I had slept before isya hihi). I really want to post something on my blog, and I decided to write about this year's Ramadhan. But before that, I want to share a song's lyrics from Snada, the title is "Pagi Ramadhan". I heard this song when I was in primary school, but this song keeps in my mind especially on Ramadhan. I really love the lyrics, and here it is :)

Dengarlah
Kicau burung-burung bernyanyi
Menyambut mentari pagi
Indah dan berseri

Sbagai tanda
Puji pada yang kuasa
Atas nikmat alam raya
Untuk kita semua

Syukurku
Penuh pasrah kupanjatkan
Doa penuh kuhaturkan
Hanya kepada-Mu Tuhan

Ya Illahi Robbi
Tuntun dan bimbinglah kami
Agar dapat menikmati
Indah alam ini

Sambutlah
Bulan yang suci mulia
Ramadhan yang penuh makna
Dalam hidup kita

Bulan suci
Ramadhan yang penuh arti
Kita bersama di uji
Membersihkan diri

Syukurku
Penuh pasrah kupanjatkan
Doa penuh kuhaturkan
Hanya kepada-Mu Tuhan

Ya Illahi Robbi
Tuntun dan bimbinglah kami
Agar dapat menikmati
Indah alam ini

Ya Illahi Robbi
Terimalah amal kami
Pada bulan suci ini
Tuk kembali fitri

Today is 29th August and it also means that today is the 29th Ramadhan. Time flies so fast, this is the end of this year's Ramadhan. No more tarawih, and I have to wait until next year to experience the beauty of Ramadhan. When I was younger, I feel like a bit sad to face Ramadhan, because at that time I think I can't do anything on Ramadhan, I can't eat, I can't drink, I can't go anywhere because it may make me exhausted. But now, when I reach 22, I feel the opposite. I'm happy to face Ramadhan and I really feel sad when it comes to an end, just like now. I realize that I haven't done so much religious activity this Ramadhan (just like the other years. Oh why I always feel that I never use the time wisely, I never optimized my worship. Forgive me, Allah..). The thought always come in my mind..will I have a chance to face next year's Ramadhan? Then when I start to think about that, I really feel sad and regret because I haven't done so much on Ramadhan..

Ya Rabb, allow me to be a better person day by day, forgive all my faults, allow me to be sacred on the upcoming Iedul Fitri, allow me to meet this holy month again next year..

Last day being 21

This is my last day, my last night being a 21 years old not so called girl. Tomorrow is my birthday, and of course I'm getting older, I'm not 21 anymore, I'm going to start my new age as a 22 years old woman. I realize that I'm not that little girl that I used to be. Being wiser, more mature, and being all better is a must. I'm on my way to start my real life.. Graduate from my college, enter the new phase of life, either study in master degree, get a job, start my own business (this is the one that i really want), or maybe...get married (who knows?). Whatever happens in the future, one thing that I know for sure is that life will not be the same as last year, last two years, and will not also be the same as this year.

Yes, being wiser and more mature is my "to do list" on my birthday. Welcome new year, new age, new me, better me. Welcome real life, I hope everything will be fine. Welcome 22. I'm getting married soon *eh.

My Goals, My Dream

I'm just having this stick on my little desk in my room..
Well this is my wishes list, actually my wish--my prayer--my dream--or whatever you call that-- is more than that. I only write the 'big one' that I really want to achieve soon. I hope by writing this, I'll get more spirit and motivation to reach my dream. Because I'm now often lack of spirit, lack of mood of doing anything, especially when I found that I have no idea what to write on my thesis. From now on, I promise I won't lose my spirit anymore. I want to reach my dream. I want to make my parents proud of having me as a daughter..

My first wish that I want to achieve soon is graduation. Yes. I really want to graduate from my college, and get my bachelor's degree as a 'Sarjana Sains' on October this year. The other things that I also hope is I want to get a good mark (hopefully cumlaude, amin) when I graduate from my college. Well now I'm trying my best to finish my thesis, getting ready for the seminar, and preparing more for my thesis final defense day. I want to give my best, show my best, and get all the best, Insya Allah..

The second wish that I write there is getting a job. Well actually I'm still not really sure which one that I'll do first after I graduate. I want to work, but I feel like I want to study abroad too (like my father ask me too). This is my dream, and also my plan, I want to get a job first, then i want to get scholarship for studying abroad after a few months working.

That's why I write my third wish which is going abroad in 2012. I really really want to go abroad. Some of my friends went abroad this year, and when I opened facebook, there were so many friends of mine from senior high school who went abroad. I also want and hope to get that kind of chance. I want to get scholarship to study abroad next year, either a short course scholarship, Master Degree scholarship, summer school, or whatever.

Another wish that I've written there is I want to go Umrah, with my family. Since I've never been to Mecca, and I often hear from many people that have been there that Mecca is so beautiful and so on, it really makes me want to go there. My parents have been there for several times. My brother is going to go there this month, and I hope that in 2012 or 2012 I can go there with all my family.

The last thing that I write on my wishes list is...Getting Married. I want to get married in 2014, after I had a job, after I went abroad, after I went umrah with my family. But if I asked to be someone's wife before 2014, insya Allah I wont reject it :)

Well, my last wishes is not really mean the last wish in my life. I'm sure that I still have so many wishes in m life, I have so much dream that I want to make it come true. Every wish that I write there is just a beginning of the new story, new chapter of my life.

I'll do my best, and let Allah does the rest. Insya Allah..
